Horsefeathers Therapeutic Riding, NFP is a registered NFP Charity, IRS 501 (c)(3) Organization.
Horsefeathers Therapeutic Riding Center is an equine facility dedicated to using horses and ponies to improve the quality of life for children and adults. We offer high quality riding instruction by certified PATH (Professional Association of Therapeutic Horsemanship International) Riding Instructors, as well as Hippotherapy with certified Occupational and Speech Therapists. Horsefeathers provides horseback riding instruction to individuals with physical or emotional disabilities. Anyone who is looking to get away from the stress of everyday life is also welcome to come and ride with us.
Our mission is to provide special needs individuals the opportunity to enhance their quality of life by participating in a horsemanship program directed by PATH certified riding instructors and a hippotherapy program administered by licensed therapists. We will provide life skills through vocational programming that encompasses all aspects of agricultural life. We will utilize rescued horses whose temperament allows them to be included in a meaningful second career
